Thanksgiving Favors
Okay, I know. If you’re having Thanksgiving at your place, you’re already providing the feast. At the end of the day you don’t need to be at the door handing out parting gifts too. But just the same, a few of these ideas are easy and kind of nice, and I knew you’d appreciate them so I will share.

1. Leftovers! The best Thanksgiving favor of all. Love this idea from Martha (seen via Stephmodo) of sending leftovers home in take out boxes with labels. Or get Martha’s template for sending home single slices of pie here.
2. If you don’t have enough to send every guest home with a personal meal, make a little extra cranberry sauce or apple butter (which you could serve on the big day with sharp cheddar as an appetizer) and send the extra home.
3. The great thing about a potluck Thanksgiving is that everyone brings their star dish and everyone else asks for the recipe. Be prepared with blank recipe cards (so many pretty buy-and-print options here) or a nice little blank recipe book.
4. Keep the kids busy at the kids’ table longer with Martha’s Thanksgiving finger puppets.
5. (not pictured) For those who don’t like the real thing, get the printable for faux pumpkin pie here.

Those turkey finger puppets are just the cutest things. I wish I had more time to make some for the kiddos.
I am thankful to have found your blog via this lovely thing we call the internet. I enjoy each post and your thoughtfulness and creativity that comes with each. Thank you. May you and your family have a wondramous and blessed Thanksgiving.

oh Sherry,
You have totally made my day. Thank you for your sweet wishes. I wish you and your family all the same, and warm and happy Thanksgiving together, and may there be lots of leftovers!
