In the Works
I’ve revisited this interview of marta’s a couple times. The quote here is just one of many good parts, all of which articulate things I’d been thinking but hadn’t quite put in so many words. As a result I’ve been organizing (hence the mess of ribbons). More coming on this next week.
I’m also inspired by these birthday packets coming together over at the small object. Won’t those be fun as they make their appearences in mailboxes throughout the year?
And, just to warn you, I don’t think you’ve heard the end of my 13 ounces or less series, especially after being inspired by ladies like this one (would have loved to be this cool when I was 19), who I just found this morning.
I’m off to enjoy the weekend. Hope yours is a good one.

Awh, thank you for such a lovely mention. I’ve loved your Thirteen Ounces or Less series :D I find the postage rates in Australia differ depending on where you go and whether or not the cashier is having a good day! I’ve paid a dollar for something once and five for the same thing another time. I recently applied for a few jobs at the night sorting rooms and the post offices around my area because I’d really like to infiltrate the post and find out some of its mysteries. My boyfriend says it would probably be tedious work and spoil the mystery for me, but I beg to differ :P
