Giveaway: Babypop Designs

I first met Sherry of Babypop Designs when she stopped by here one day. I thought I’d pay a quick visit to her shop, and holy moly, Batman, did I immediately fall in love. The woman makes personalized cape and mask sets for your superhero of choice. Do you realize what this means? This means she is a real life Edna Mole! I love what she writes in her shop intro:

“This all started with a day at the playground and watching kids running around and thinking ‘he really needs a personalized superhero cape.’”

I thought this was the perfect giveaway for our birthday surprise week. Babypop Designs has generously offered to give away a super set. That is one personalized cape and mask set for one lucky reader. Or should I say, to a reader and their lucky super hero of choice. We all have small super heros in our lives, and I think a personalized mask and cape set is just the natural step to making their super-hero-dom official.

To enter, leave me a comment saying what super power you would like to have. Flying, web shooting, making icy tracks and riding them on your super cool ice surf board. I totally know what mine would be. No question. I’ll have to let you know, maybe when I announce the winner. Thanks to Babypop Designs, and good luck!

  4. Darla Says:

I want the Ultimate Princess Set! Am I too big for it? I’d love to be wearing it when my boss comes in to ask me why I didn’t make deadline. “I’m sorry Ma’am, I had to take a long lunch– Timmy fell in the well again.”

  5. Jill S. Says:

I’ve always wanted to be invisible. Not sure why. I think because I was shy when I was younger. My how things change!

  6. phadsgal Says:

I love, love, love this giveaway! Every kid should have a super suit!

If I could have any superpower, it would be shapeshifting. Then, if I wanted to fly, I could still shift into a bird and fly away! (Man, I’ve put way to much thought into this!)

  7. Maureen Says:

Flying – then I could avoid traffic! Thanks, Maureen (jnomaxx at hotmail dot com)

  8. Michelle Says:

Oh my gosh, my Claudia would love this. What a fun giveaway.

I think I’d like to have some kind of transport power – just nod my head and I’m instantly at the place I wanted to be. And if I held someone’s hand, they could come along too. : )

  9. Beth Says:

This is SO super cute, my son would love it! My super hero power would be be able to teleport myself/others anywhere!

  10. Aubrey Archuleta Says:

AWESOME. Mine would be mind control. Definitely would come in handy raising my 3 yr. old :)

  11. pita Says:

I want telekinesis. I could clean the house from the sofa by putting things away with my mind!

  12. Carrie Hughes Says:

I think your idea of doing a blog about gift giving is such a great idea and I’ve fallen in love with your ideas.
My super hero power would have to be flying.

  13. ~ joey ~ Says:

Wow my little guy jumped at the screen when he saw this set! We both think having Ironman’s powers would be best, since we think that he must just iron clothes!? (we’re still learning about superheros!) ;o)

  14. Vicky Says:

Hmmm, so many super powers to choose from. I think being invisible would be really handy.

  15. Bridgette Says:

My superpower of choice would be to have the powers of a genie like in the old “I dream of genie” show. Cross my arms, nod my head and the dishes (and dinner) would be done!

  16. Christina Says:

I would love the power to freeze time. Two reasons. One, I would be infinitely more productive and better rested. Two, I could freeze those few perfect moments with the people I care about to savor them just a few minutes longer.

  17. Lisa T Says:

Super speed! I would clean my house in mere seconds!

  18. Taylor Says:

I want to the snap my fingers and things are done (hair, house cleaned, clothes changed, kids washed and dressed, you get the idea). That would be great!

  19. Melissa Says:

My super power would be the ability to control time. Ooh, or to fly. that would help getting places quickly! ;D

  20. gigi Says:

I’d love to be able to fly…think of the possibilities!

  21. Brittaney Says:

If I could have any super power, I would love to be able to read minds. But, not just people’s minds- animals’ too! I’m always wondering what my dogs are thinking!

  22. Heather Lynne Says:

Oh, these are so cool! :)

No question what superpower I would want- camera eyes! :) So that I could just blink them & get a picture of what I’m looking at, in the moment, without picking up my camera!! :)

  23. Sherry Cartwright Says:

Christina, your reply made my heart melt! And, pita, I wish I had that super power, too — as I made the mental list of things to do, they would just be done. Poof.

Instead, I think I’d want a super-clean super-fast power. I would like the house to be super clean in a super fast so that I had the extra time to spend with the kiddos and hubby. It seems so much of our time after work is consumed with chores — and I do not like that.

The super hero set is too cuuuuuuuuuute!

  24. Myriam Says:

It’s so funny how things change… when I was little I wanted to be able to fly and now I just want some magic cleaning powers or maybe a third hand ;)

  25. Becca B Says:

Flying first, but then again, Christine’s power about freezing time—who wouldn’t love that. However, would I age “faster” if I was freezing time all the time?

  26. Marie Says:

Super speed. Then I could clean my house faster than they mess it up.

  27. Cheryl Says:

I would love to be able to clap my hands and organize or clean everything- so I can have more time for other things…. I love the capes and masks!!

  28. Jennie Says:

No question, flying. And I think my little superheroine would agree:)

  29. Charissa - The Gifted Blog Says:

Ooh, what a great shop and giveaway!
We live far from most of our family, so I’d like a family teleporting power so we could reunite on whim!

  30. carriem Says:

How about the power to survive underwater and talk to sea life? That could come in handy?

  31. Connie Holladay Says:

I would love a power that i could be like the fairy godmaothers in Sleeping beauty. I could just animate all the furnishings to clean my house and make the meals. Then I could spend more time with my kids and doing things that I really love.

  32. Teresa Ho Says:

I would love the power to have lollipops at will. Because who doesn’t need (read: want) lollipops?

  33. Clong Says:

It’s a toss up between super green thumb or instant potty training. :)

  34. Terrah Says:

Super speeding for me too. Super cute giveaway!

  35. niki Says:

I wish I could freeze time. Then I could catch up on life!

  36. Sylvia Says:

Being invisible!!! Imagine all the things I could get done. :)

  37. Kristen Says:

Definitely to be able to “download” and use new skills, knowledge, etc. Kind of like speed-learning, but even faster.

  38. Kristen Says:

I’d like to be able to move super fast – then I might be able to finish everything I need to, and more!

  39. Sheryl Coe Says:

Flying would be amazing, but can’t I choose STOPPING TIME or “Ridding all junk food of fat and calories?” Those would be SO MUCH MORE USEFUL!

  40. Robyn Says:

Oh my goodness, I would definitely want the ability to fly. It seems fabulous!

  41. Jenny Says:

I would love to have the ability to heal. I’d love to take pain away from people.

  42. Stacey Says:

The ability to fly! There is just something utterly graceful about watching a bird take to flight and sail away. Plus think of all the saved time in airports!

  43. AlisonB Says:

I would LOVE to be Bionic! (is that technically a super power?)

  44. Heather Says:

i’d like to be invisible…more or less just to mess with criminals’ minds =]

  45. Tina Says:

I’ve always wanted to fly – but my son would definitely want web shooting powers.

  46. Faith Heitman Says:

While she wasn’t a super hero Tabitha from BeWitched comes to mind…wiggle my nose and my desires are fulfilled…like dinner is made, homework is done, baby is bathed…you get the idea.

  47. Colleen C Says:

My super power of choice is more of an I Dream of Jeannie thing. I’d like to blink and have my whole house clean and orderly!

  48. Shauna Says:

I would either like to be 2 places at once (work and home with my babe) or teleportation so I could see my own mom more often!

  49. Nada Says:

To finish all the things I start. Might not seem like a “real” super power, but my kids would probably love it if I had it. Too many great family oriented ideas are wasted because I don’t have enough “finish power”. Looks like your blog might just be my motivator though! Great info – thanks!

  50. La Yen Says:

Either instant transport or the power to stop time. I have given it much thought. Probably too much thought…

  51. Bernadette Says:

Love this! How cute are these superhero sets?
Okay, so my superpower would totally be to have the ability to teleport! Some days you just need a quick trip to Fiji, you know? Other days, you need a family member who lives across the country…that superpower would be SUPER useful for me ;)

  52. Jeanette Mc. Says:

Invisible. I would love to share this – I once asked my dear sweet Nana this question and she instantly replied “to take away a person’s pain”. I would have said that one now, but it belongs to her. She was priceless.

  53. Sathya Says:

Telekinesis, or one of those time stopping watches.

  54. Meg Says:

    Flying, for sure.
BTW, these are great. I bought these capes for christmas for my nephews and one as a birthday gift. HUGE hit. Super easy at the etsy shop and she could not have been nicer.

  55. trixx Says:

The power to stop and resume time would be quite nice to have!

  56. Antoinette Says:

I agree with the post from the woman who wants to multiply herself.

I would like the superpower of organization in all aspects of my home. Seriously.
    Antoinette

  57. Sharon Says:

I would like to have powers/abilities like Samantha on the old Bewitched television show. You could freeze time, get things done immediately, change people. Oh, I still dream of it all…..LOL

  58. DEBIJOT Says:

Super energy power – to get my house cleaned!

  59. Shannon Says:

My super power would definitely be teleporting. I have been telling my husband for years that I wish I had that power. My boys would love this set! Great giveaway!

  60. Emily Says:

Definitely to fly! Or to stop time every now and then.

  61. Very Married Says:

I think i’d want mind reading that could be turned on and off…

though i just read the commenter above me who said teleporting and i think i changed my mind!

    ms(dot)verymarried(at)gmail(dot)com

  62. Megan Says:

That’s awesome! My super power energy would to be to freeze time but for me to still be able to walk around!

  63. emily Says:

Hard to pick a super power… How about being able to be anywhere at once. Or maybe to stop time… That way you can get everything done that you want and take a nap in-between. :) Super set! My son would LOVE IT

  64. kari Says:

My super power would be the ability to appear whenever/wherever someone really wanted to see me.

  65. Kim Says:

I would want to read other peoples minds!!! xo

  66. Felicia Says:

It may be boring, but I would love to have super cleaning powers! Everything clean in 2 seconds flat! I would have so much more time to enjoy life that way!

    tigpooh1516″at”yahoo”dot”com

  67. Delanna Says:

I’d love the power of whatever you call the opposite of procrastination! :)

  68. amy Says:

If I could fly, I could really do some damage – good damage, of course!

  69. Annie Says:

I always thought it would be cool to be able to Time Travel!

    annie(dot)milner(at)gmail(dot)com

  70. Chelsey Says:

I’d love to be able to fly. But in response to the pp who said super cleaning powers — that sounds great — remember Mary Poppins? I might have to switch my answer to that and my husband could fly instead. Then I could have a clean house and go fly with him whenever I wanted. Thanks for the giveaway.

  71. Kim E Says:

I want to be able to Teleport! I hate the long hours to go see family and friends. I want to make the trip in a blink of an eye!
